Award Description

Recognizes projects that showcase either sustainable design elements or substantial resource recovery (nutrient, energy, water, carbon recovery) and stand out as exceptional examples across the Pacific Northwest.

Projects completed by PNCWA members that feature any of the following components are eligible:
- Recycled water
- Biosolids
- Energy
- Renewable energy generation
- Greenhouse has emission reductions
- Transformation of waste to products
- Energy efficiency improvements
- Reduction of toxic materials
- Habitat enhancements
- Water quality enhancement
- Public education and outreach about sustainability
- LEED certification
- Integration and enhancement of social, economic, and environmental factors
