HCAW Board Member Nominations

Thank you for your interest in serving on the HCAW Board of Directors and supporting our mission.
The HCAW Nominations Committee will review all applications and may conduct interviews before presenting a slate of nominees for member consideration.

Criteria and Expectations for Board Service:

Board Directors must be HCAW members in good standing
- Individual Member Agencies (operating one NPI in WA) are eligible for one Board seat.
- Corporate Member Agencies (operating more than one NPI in WA) are eligible for two Board seats.
Term Details:
- Board service starts in July.
- Terms are three years, with eligibility to serve two consecutive terms.
Time Commitments:
- The Board meets virtually monthly on the third Thursday from 9-10 AM. Directors are expected to attend regularly.
- Attend one annual strategic planning meeting
- Attend the HCAW Annual Conference
- Directors are strongly encouraged to participate in at least one HCAW committee.

Application Timeline

Applications Due: February 6, 2026
The Nominations Committee will review applications and present candidates for an electronic vote in April.
The new slate of Officers and Directors will be ratified during the annual membership meeting at the HCAW Annual Conference in Walla Walla, April 26–28, 2026.
