• 2026 Annual Chapter Meeting Poster/Abstract Submission

  • Use the form below to submit your abstract for the 2026 Poster Competition, taking place in Plano at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West on Sunday, November 15th. All poster presenters must be registered to attend the meeting no later than October 25th.

    Please review carefully-- guideslines have changed this year!

    As part of your submission, you are required to upload both:

    • 500‑word abstract, and
    • PDF version of your poster

    if your program would like to submit posters for non‑competition presentation and People’s Choice consideration, you may still submit up to three posters total — one per category — by October 9.


    All posters submitted during this extended window will be automatically accepted to hang onsite. Once your posters are received, we’ll send a confirmation letting you know they’re in and remind you that presenters must register no later than October 25.

  • Medical Student Submissions

    Medical students enrolled at a Texas Medical School may submit up to one submission in the Clinical Vignette category. Submissions are due August 24th. Please note - your abstract must fall within the domain of Internal Medicine! Please do not submit abstracts meant for other domains such as pediatrics or OB.

  • Please review page 4 of the competition guidelines for detailed instructions on creating your presentation link. Your media link must be uploaded to YouTube as a publically-viewable link - please ensure it is not restricted in any way, or your submission will not be considered. Videos must be 5 minutes or less, and must be recorded by the first author.

  • Resident Submission

  • Each Texas Internal Medicine residency program may submit a maximum of the following in each category for the Poster Competition(categories may not be combined) submissions should be peer reviewed and approved by program directors prior to submission:

    1 Clinical Vignette 
    1 Clinical Research 
    1 Quality Improvement/Patient Safety 

    Abstract Submissions on behalf of your program are due by October 9th, 2026.
