• 2026 Annual Chapter Meeting Poster/Abstract Submission

  • Use the form below to submit your abstract for the 2026 Poster Competition, taking place in Plano at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West on Sunday, November 15th. All poster presenters must be registered to attend the meeting no later than October 25th.

    Please review carefully-- guideslines have changed this year!

    As part of your submission, you are required to upload both:

    • 500‑word abstract, and
    • 5 minute voiceover presentation accompanying your poster

    Before submitting, please review the competition guidelines for detailed instructions on formatting, eligibility, and best practices to ensure your materials meet all requirements.

  • Medical Student Submissions

    Medical students enrolled at a Texas Medical School may submit up to one submission in the Clinical Vignette category. Submissions are due August 24th. Please note - your abstract must fall within the domain of Internal Medicine! Please do not submit abstracts meant for other domains such as pediatrics or OB.

Videos must be 5 minutes or less, and must be recorded by the first author.

  • Each Texas Internal Medicine residency program may submit a maximum of the following in each category for the Poster Competition(categories may not be combined) submissions should be peer reviewed and approved by program directors prior to submission:

    1 Clinical Vignette 
    1 Clinical Research 
    1 Quality Improvement/Patient Safety 

    Abstract Submissions on behalf of your program are due by Monday Augsut 24, 2026.

    - Understand that if your poster is selected for presentation, you must print and present a physicial poster at the Annual Chapter Meeting in person on November 15th in Plano, Texas.
