Workshop - Wilderness Medicine

November 2nd 2:45pm - 4:45pm Hosted by Nick Stanton, this workshop will focus on preparation, planning and treating medical emergencies while in the wilderness setting. That could mean treating others, calling in rescue teams, building an overnight shelter, and a variety of other scenarios that a PA may unintentionally find themself in while outdoors. Preparation and mindset are key.

November 3rd from 1:15pm - 3:15pm hosted by Angela Fulton, this interactive workshop provides a practical introduction to Botox treatments for healthcare providers who are interested in incorporating this into their practice. Participants will review facial anatomy, patient assessment, treatment planning, injection principals, safety considerations, and complication prevention. This session will include live injection demonstration including reconstitution and preparation, procedural video examples to illustrate and highlight injection technique, anatomical landmarks, patient positioning, and strategies for achieving safe, natural looking outcomes.
