Are you a psychology student or early career researcher looking for an opportunity to share your work with the community? The Washington State Psychological Association (WSPA) invites you to submit your research poster for presentation at the WSPA Fall Convention on October 23-24, 2026!
The main presenter of each selected poster will receive free one-day student admission to the convention.
This symposium is open to all Washington State psychology undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral interns, and postdocs. It’s a fantastic chance to showcase your research, engage with professionals in the field, and gain valuable feedback on your work. Posters that have been previously presented, including those showcased at APA 2026, are welcome for submission!
Submission and Presentation Requirements:
- Posters should be 24” x 36" and printed on a rigid material to be displayed on an easel.
- Student presenters must attend the convention from 7 AM - 1 PM to present their poster on Saturday, October 24th.
- Submitters are not required to be WSPA members, but are encouraged to join—membership is free for students and 1st year post graduation!
- Submission Deadline: Monday, September 14, 2026.
Prizes: Three $200 awards will be available for selected posters, evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Originality and contribution of the work to the field of psychology.
- Quality and clarity of the poster’s design.
- Engagement and presentation of the work during the symposium.
The majority of the work and thought must be completed by the student presenter(s). The primary student author of the poster will receive the recognition and monetary award, which can be shared among multiple presenters if desired.
