DBIA understands how important, underutilized businesses are to the continued growth of design-build. Attending the National Conference is a great opportunity to learn more about the industry, make new connections and meet potential partners and clients.
This scholarship is intended to cover the conference registration cost and make it easier for more UBE firms to participate.
For this scholarship, a UBE includes a small, disadvantaged, minority-owned, woman-owned or veteran-owned business.
Before starting your application, please keep the following in mind:
• Applications are due October 2, 2026.
• Scholarship recipients will be notified by October 9, 2026.
• Recipients are responsible for airfare, hotel, and other travel expenses.
• Scholarships cannot be transferred to another person and have no cash value.
Applications will be reviewed based on financial need, interest in design-build, how attending the conference could benefit the applicant and their firm, and their plans to participate in the conference.
