Student Guest Scholarship Program

Application

The Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA), a statewide nonprofit committed to promoting waste reduction and recycling education in the Northwest and beyond, is now accepting applications for a scholarship to attend its annual conference. These scholarships are available to higher education students at universities, trade schools, etc. This conference is an outstanding opportunity for future leaders to network with waste reduction professionals, expand their knowledge of the recycling and waste reduction industry and prepare themselves for a career in a rewarding and innovative field. The scholarship covers the cost of hotel accommodations during the conference, educational sessions and networking opportunities, and WSRA membership dues for the remainder of 2025.

WSRA also offers free conference registration to a limited number of professionals through the WSRA Community Support Grant. If you are not a college student, apply to that program here.

What: WSRA's Annual Recycling Conference (includes a one-year individual membership)

When: May 19-21, 2025

Applications will be evaluated based on involvement in sustainability, alignment/ engagement with WSRA's mission, and future career interests.
